Here's another of the cherry that was on here Thursday. I really like this picture of the cherry. I'm not sure there's anything special about it. It just makes me happy!
Speaking of fruit trees... This beautiful tree is growing outside my home as well. I had a lot of fun taking pictures with different DOFs. This one is a little too shallow, but I like pretty much any picture of this tree!
This is my sis, Emily. She and I did a "real" photo shoot one evening. This is her touching up her makeup. I'll never admit to doing her hair! She can do it better than I can!
Last year, when I took this picture, I was so proud of it. I guess in some ways, it's not a BAD picture. The bokeh is good. But, I can't wait to have another shot at flowers this year! It's almost that time!
Today, there are two. Spring is finally here! :) The Daffies are blooming, the rain is falling (hard at the moment) and it's been 80 outside! The Daffodil Festival is in about 3 weeks. I have a LOT of work to do to prepare, but it's going to be a good time!
Yesterday, there was an internet ... meltdown. Today, we're back up and running! :)
If you're coming from my OD account, you may find some of these pictures repeated! Sorry about that! :)
These are little Betsy's feet. This type of processing is called OOB or Out Of Bounds because the picture actually "pops" out of the frame. This is one of my newest skills in Photoshop!
I have been "blogging" at www.opendiary.com and have enjoyed it immensely. However, I am going to move my daily photo diary to blogger. This is my first post.
This is my nephew, Elliott. He was looking at me through a large cardboard tube.
I'm a 26-year-old 7th grade language arts teacher (in other words, mom to 68 kids!) I love to write and have written four terrible novels to date! (NaNoWriMo.org is AWESOME)
Other than writing, I love to take pictures of... everything.
I also like to read. A lot. I wish I could take a year off school and just read every book my kids have raved about!
Enjoy and please leave me a comment!
